Rod Bowen reports from Melbourne
For a number of years, the RAEME blokes in Melbourne haven't had a "central" watering hole for the ANZAC Day March, especially with so many men being attached to LAD's, and the like, and marching with those Units.
A small group of us have set out to redress the problem.
What we are trying to accomplish is to set a place within walking distance from the end of the march with public transport nearby the lads can drop into on their way to Unit Reunions, stop for a while and meet some mates before joining up with their Units.
So far things are looking promising. I would like to hear from others on this.
