Jock Ricketts and I were posted into 102 Fd Wksp in Sept. 71. Our main task was to reduce the weight of ALL the Centurions so that they could be lifted aboard the ship ordered to carry them. We spent days in the hot sun removing decks and what ever else we could. After that task we took over the responsibility of maintaining the pink Land Rover used for beach recovery of boats etc at the Badcoe Club. |
