This shot is taken just out of Pleiku, Central Highlands and shows the huge Radar Installations. They are so big and cover a large area. The smallest is about 16/20 story high. This set up is the equipment that operates through their Cap Aircraft that fly 24 hours a day. Cap Aircraft are 707 Boeing that have the huge horizontal dish on the top of them. These aircraft can and do control the North Vietnam Missile system. The moment that North Vietnam fired a missile it was taken over by these Cap aircraft and returned to them. Hence they didn't fire them.
