image This is gallery is a tour of the 106 Field Workshop site.

It covers the period from November 1968, when we first arrived, to about July 1969 after all the facilities were build.

The development was hard yacka, and if the men were not fit when they marched in, they were all muscle by the time the work was done. But everyone pitched in with spirit and good humour.
