Husky Alpha Bravo were field artillery from Corps Troops based at Nui Dat in 1969 We were closely connected to them because when they deployed we took over the defence of their compound They were medium artillery and were equipped with the M109 Self Propelled 155mm Howitzer. They were versatile and carried quite a punch. The gun had a range of 23,500 metres and could be used in both the direct and indirect firing modes It had an endurance of 220mile (350km) and a top speed of 35mph (55kph) The pics are views of the equipment and some ammunition
